The analysis

Built for the phone, not ported to it.

Racemator isn’t a remote screen for desktop software. It’s the whole analysis workflow, rebuilt around the device you actually have at the track.

Session overview

The whole session, one scroll

Every channel, custom-rendered to scroll fast and smooth — flick through a full session like it’s nothing. Channels with no data tuck themselves out of the way instead of cluttering the list.

Data zoom

Get close to the data

Take any channel fullscreen with true data zoom: drag a band to zoom in, keep your bearings in the minimap, pan and pinch with two fingers, refit with one tap.

Lap overlays

Overlay the laps that matter

Stack laps on one trace and isolate the ones you care about. Switch channels without leaving fullscreen, and choose exactly which channels are shown.

Track maps

Track maps that mean something

GPS lines colored by the data, so fast and slow are visible at a glance — any channel as a gradient. Lap-vs-lap deltas show where a lap gains or loses, and a synced cursor mirrors your finger between chart and map, with exact values as you scrub.

In the paddock

Session handling that respects race day

Download over the kart’s Wi-Fi in seconds. Sessions organise themselves per device, and everything works offline once it’s on your phone.

AI debrief · Plus & Pro

Ask where the time went

The debrief reads your laps, channels and setup notes, then answers in plain language — which corners, which laps, what to try next. On Pro, keep asking follow-ups — and point it at up to four sessions at once.

Where am I losing time?

Mostly T6. You roll in about 4 km/h slower than lap 9 and pick up the throttle 0.2 s later — exit RPM is down ~600 at the same mark. Your mid-corner is already strong; try braking a kart-length later.

FAQ

Quick answers.

Which MyChron models does it work with?

The AiM MyChron 5, 5S and 6. Connect your phone to the logger over Wi-Fi and Racemator finds it — no cables or card readers. Requires an iPhone on iOS 17 or later.

Do I need an account?

No. There are no sign-up forms or passwords — your App Store subscription is the only credential. On a new phone, tap Restore Purchases and you’re back.

Does it work at tracks with no phone reception?

Yes — downloading happens over the kart’s Wi-Fi, and every session on your phone works fully offline. The one exception is the AI debrief, which needs an internet connection.

How does the data get off the kart?

Pull in, join the MyChron’s Wi-Fi, and new sessions download in seconds — organised per device, ready to open straight away.

Can I compare sessions?

Yes. Overlay up to three laps on every chart on any plan. Pro goes further — compare up to four sessions from the same track side by side, like three heats and a final.

Where does my data live?

On your phone. Sessions never leave your device except when you run an AI debrief, which sends that session’s data for analysis — the privacy policy covers exactly what’s sent and how long it’s kept.

Is there an iPad or Android version?

Not yet — Racemator is iPhone-first. iPad and Android are firmly on the radar, so stay tuned.

How do I get early access?

The TestFlight is invite-only while we polish for launch. Email contact@racemator.com or ask in the Racemator Discord and we’ll set you up.

How do subscriptions and refunds work?

Billing is handled entirely by Apple. Change or cancel any time in iOS Settings → Subscriptions; refunds go through reportaproblem.apple.com.

Does it replace Race Studio?

For race-day analysis, yes — every channel the logger records, viewable and comparable minutes after you pull in, with a modern UI and AI debriefs on top. Race Studio remains the desktop suite for deep configuration work and video overlay on a big screen; Racemator is the tool that’s actually with you at the track.

Pull in, download, and see exactly where the time went.
