Fair use and availability

Racemator iOS app · last updated 19 October 2026

Everything you download from your MyChron stays yours, on your phone, and none of this applies to it: charts, track maps, lap comparisons and the deep dive all run on the device and have no limits at all.

The AI features are different. Each one uses model processing resources, through a provider we select or on our own infrastructure, so they come with allowances. This page says how that works, in plain terms.

What the AI comes with

If you reach an allowance, nothing else in the app is affected: your sessions, charts and maps keep working exactly as before.

When AI may be limited or paused

The AI features depend on services outside our control, so they are offered as they are and as available. We may limit, suspend or withdraw them, in whole or in part, at any time and without notice, for example:

We aim to keep any pause short and to say so in the app. A subscription buys the app and its features generally, not a guaranteed number of AI analyses in any period.

Misuse

Fair use means one subscriber using the app normally, including managing their drivers on Race Team. These are not:

Where we see this, we may apply tighter limits to a subscription, pause its access to the AI features, or stop serving it. We keep limited request records to detect and investigate it; what, and for how long, is in the privacy policy. If you believe we have got it wrong, email contact@racemator.com: a real person reads it.

Billing, changes and refunds

Subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple, and managed in your Apple Account. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. Your purchase is also governed by Apple's Standard End User License Agreement, which is the Terms of Use for this app.

We may update this page at any time; the version posted here, with its date, is the one that applies from that date onwards. Nothing here affects rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded, such as the guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law.
